Freedom is far from Liberation

Let me warn you before moving forward.

What lies ahead may challenge your beliefs, unsettle your notions, and pull you out of comfort.

My dear friend; Freedom is far from liberation.

We walk the world bound,

not by chains of iron,

but by the invisible ropes

of our insecurities, fears, ambitions, and desires.

These forces drive us relentlessly,

yet the hand on the wheel remains unseen—

some name it God,

others the cosmos,

and a few, evolution.

Perhaps what we call “ourselves”

is nothing more than misconceived notions.

I do not know the truth.

I only know this;

Your-self is far your beliefs, 

our ideas, our notions, or our emotions.

A soul truly free is a rarity—

a whisper in the air,

heard by almost all,

found by none.
