People First the path to productivity

Image
In every great organisation, people are not merely assets — they are the very engine that drives progress, innovation, and enduring productivity. To truly unlock their potential, we must invest decisively in their well-being, continuous development, and the ecosystems they inhabit. Let us reimagine our role not just as employers, but as enablers — eliminating the mundane burdens of daily life by creating integrated, self-sustaining townships, and by building work environments that are not only modern and efficient but deeply humane. Where dignity, safety, and purpose intersect, excellence becomes a natural outcome. A workforce that is cared for performs not out of compulsion, but out of commitment. When we lead with people-first productivity, the world will not only take notice — it will be inspired to follow.

Managing Organisations Like Portfolios: A Strategic Lens on Performance and Sustainability.

Image
In leadership, often one of the most overlooked truths is that: An organisation-or any unit within it-is or our pocket of responsibilities is much like an investment portfolio. It demands continual evaluation, strategic allocation, and courageous rebalancing. Just like in investing: High Performers- High performers are your growth stocks. They deliver strong returns and deserve increased allocation-in form of responsibilities, resources, or expectations all together. Additionaly they need nurturing and timely reviews. Situational Non-performer- Underperformers due to situational or transitional factors are like temporarily undervalued assets. They need support-whether it's mentorship, skill enhancement, resource allocation or process improvements. With the right care, many can bounce back stronger. Chronic Non-performer- Persistent non-performance, however, requires tough decisions. When inefficiencies become systemic, we must reallocate-with dignity, not delay. Inactio...

The Illusion of Control — A Cognitive Bias That Binds

Image
" Finest art is flow — total involvement, absolute detachment. Doing without becoming." In the vast sphere of existence, we are but a pinprick — quietly insignificant. Believe me, the moment we stop trying to buy, possess, or control something merely for the sake of owning it, the whole world opens up to you. But the very moment you  perceive  you’ve gained control over something, pause and reflect: That very thing begins to control you — especially your emotional state. Ownership, when driven by the desire for control, leads to attachment. And attachment confines. You become finite, reduced to something infinitesimally small. What you own,  begins to own you. What you try to hold, ends up holding you. You are no longer free. And in that confinement, you miss everything else, that life, in all its vastness, was quietly waiting to offer you. Just think — of anything or anyone:  an object, a perceived asset, a person, work, a relationship... How wonderfully this...

Shiva (शिव )From a Form to the Formless: A Journey Towards Shiva-मूर्ति से अमूर्त तक : शिव की ओर एक यात्रा —

Image
https://science.nasa.gov/missions/hubble/hubble-celebrates-29th-anniversary-with-a-colorful-look-at-the-southern-crab-nebula/ Every journey has to start somewhere..... For most of us, the journey towards the divine begins with a name, a form, a story, a statue in a temple, a chant or a tale from mythology. This holy Shravan, we embarked on a sacred journey — beginning with invoking Shiva through the  material form: with  different shlokas, stutis, and symbolic images of lord shiva everyday. But now, I invite us all to go deeper — to immerse ourselves in the very  Shiva element the essence, b eyond the drum, the jata and  the damaru — Into the primordial, omniscient, and transcendental cosmic vibration — energy from and beyond matter — A waveform of the particle, not much different from the wave-particle duality we've all encountered in physics.  Shiva can be experienced in all forms — and also beyond all form — In the vastness of the cosmos, and in the silence w...

Image

The Upgradation Ladder of Leadership

Image
In the continual journey of learning and growth, true leadership lies not in dominance, but in supporting and developing others—especially in areas where we hold strength. Equally important is the courage to step into seemingly difficult roles and the humility to seek support where we ourselves are still growing. This dual willingness—to give and receive, to grow while helping others grow, and to shoulder responsibility with sincerity—forms a simple yet profound ladder of leadership upgradation. The driving force behind such actions is not ambition for position or power, but a deeper purpose: the spirit of servant leadership. It is born from a sincere desire to add value, to uplift others, and to serve a cause greater than oneself.

"Policies are for people — not the other way around."

Image
In organisations, we often overlook a fundamental truth: policies are designed to serve people, not to confine them. They are meant to evolve — to reflect the changing needs, challenges, and aspirations of our workforce. When we begin to shape people to fit rigid policies rather than adapting policies to support people, we risk losing both empathy and effectiveness. A policy that no longer resonates with the dynamic realities of human resource management slowly loses its relevance — becoming a checkbox exercise rather than a living, enabling framework. Let us remember: inclusion, flexibility, and context must be the guiding forces behind every policy. Only then can we foster an organisation that is not just structured, but also humane and resilient.
