विस्मृत समर्पण

हम पत्थर पर, सजदे में या प्रार्थना में नहीं,

बल्कि अपनी इच्छाओं और तृष्णाओं पर सिर पटकते हैं।

जाने-अनजाने, हम ईश्वर को भी मात्र एक साधन बना लेते हैं—

दुख में, जरूरत में, अभिलाषाओं की पूर्ति में।

परंतु उपयोगवादिता के दृष्टिकोण से भी,

यह तो उतना ही तुच्छ उपयोग हुआ,

जितना कि तलवार से चींटी का शिकार।

जिसे आत्मबोध, संतोष और अनंत सृजन का स्रोत होना था,

उसकी विराट अनुभूति से हम अपने विवेक की परिसीमाओं तक ही अनुभूत हो पाते हैं।

यह विचार तत्वगत है— तथ्यगत नहीं।

We do not surrender to a stone, in prostration, or in prayer, but upon our own desires and cravings.

Knowingly or unknowingly, we reduce even God to a mere instrument—

in sorrow, in need, in the fulfillment of aspirations.

Yet, even from a utilitarian perspective,

this is as trivial a use as hunting an ant with a sword.

That which was meant to be the source of self-realization, contentment, and infinite creation,

we experience only within the narrow confines of our intellect.

This thought is metaphysical, not factual.
